The Reproductive and Child Health Project was contracted/ given to Saath by AMC in June 2004. The Project consists of 28 enthusiastic ASHA workers who create awareness about reproductive health, and pre-natal and post-natal care amongst pregnant and young mothers. In all, 9934 Antenatal & Postnatal care for women, while 17901 children are vaccinated.
The project is funded by AMC. Saath is implementing an MCH project that is designed to meet the public health needs in India and is sensitive to global influences. The aim is to use innovative technology, as well as management and systems solutions to improve maternal and child health. It is seen that 58897 Maternal and Child Health Household surveys are conducted. Out of the total, 11036 Mother’s survey and 12733 Children survey. The Project will build a platform and ecosystem for innovation generation and testing that will develop new ideas and solutions in the form of products and models that prioritize MCH challenges.
