Salon-I

Started in the year 2012, Godrej’s Salon (i) provides these women with all the relevant theoretical and practical training for three months. The fourth month is for on-the-job training, wherein they get hands-on professional experience at a nearby parlor or salon. After the four-month training, they either work at a salon or start up a microenterprise at home and start their livelihood. Salon (i) has reached out to almost 1,700 women out of which 1,243 women have been placed. It has over 29 centers spread across 9 different cities, namely: Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara, Mansa, Dehgam, Viramgam, Dholka, Nadiad, and Kalyan (Mumbai).
