GMRC

Ahmedabad Metro is a rapid transit system for the cities of Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar in Gujarat, India. It is being built by Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation Limited, a Special Purpose Vehicle company constituted in 2018 to implement all metro projects in Gujarat. (Previously known as MEGA Metro Link Express for Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad (MEGA) Co. Limited).

The Mega metro train project is going, this project aims to provide safe, fast and eco-friendly rail based mass transit services to the public at affordable rates while simultaneously catalyzing dense and orderly urban, benefitting the people daily commuting between Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad. 10 areas of Ahmedabad have been covered as of now. 647 families have been identified and verified for inclusion in Resettlement Action Plan (RAP).
